Dr. Shaniqua Schloss obtained her bachelor's in Sociology from SUNY College at Old Westbury, her master’s in social work from Adelphi University, and her doctorate in Social Work from Capella University. Dr. Schloss has over 10 years of experience in Social Work. Dr. Schloss has worked in school social work, juvenile detention, behavioral health, as well as human and social services, with children, teens, adults, families and couples throughout her years in the field of social work. Dr. Schloss is skilled in addressing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress, anger management, low self-esteem, life transitions, and school issues. Dr. Schloss is competent in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and uses a strength-based approach.
