Crystal Diaz is a Master of Social Work student at Yeshiva University, where she is completing her clinical training. She is currently working under supervision at Second Chance Counseling, providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
Crystal has over eight years of experience in social services, including case management, supervision, and program leadership. She began her career supporting children with disabilities in educational and early intervention settings and has continued her work with vulnerable populations, including migrant youth and families navigating trauma, transition, and systemic barriers.
In her clinical practice, Crystal utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. She has experience addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. Crystal is passionate about empowering clients to build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, and rediscover self-worth.
