Emily Edison, LMSW, is a compassionate and skilled therapist with seven years of experience in the human services field. She earned her degree in Human Services from SUNY Albany’s School of Social Welfare and has worked extensively with adults facing challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and PTSD. Most recently, she provided therapy at Mosaic Clinical Services, where she specialized in trauma-informed care. Emily utilizes an eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She also integrates polyvagal theory to help clients increase self-awareness and develop a greater sense of control over their lives.
