Jasmine Ortiz, LCSW

Jasmine Ortiz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  She obtained her bachelor’s & master’s degree in social work from Lehman College. Jasmine has over 15 years of experience as a social worker. She has worked in Behavioral Health and Forensic settings for over ten years. She has an extensive history of working with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. Jasmine has worked with children diagnosed with, ADHD, ODD, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Conduct Disorder, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. She is experienced in addressing behavioral issues, such as anger management and behavioral modification. She is proficient in working with suicidal ideation/suicide attempts, anxiety, depression, personality disorder, psychotic disorders, trauma-related stressors, dissociative disorders, and complicated grief with young adults and adults. She is certified in Bereavement Counseling, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mental Health First Aid, Motivational Interviewing, and Behavior Modification.
