Virginia Ardaix LMSW

Greetings and a warm welcome to my digital profile. I am Virginia Ardaix, a dedicated social worker driven by a motivation to encourage people to foster the change they want to create for themselves and in their families believing this will create a positive impact in the communities they live. When people feel listened to with compassion during life's ups and downs, they tend to open up more to the possibility of change. Conversely, when this supportive connection is absent, feelings of brokenness and separation can arise, leaving them more fragile and vulnerable. Have you come across an experience similar to this? Therapy is a process where we help the individual or the group to address emotional or behavioral challenges that support restoration, growth and where the individual strengthens their capacity to cope better with life circumstances. The therapy approach Virginia provides is integrative of different modalities that sees the person as a unity of body-mind-soul integrated in an environment that influences who they are and how they interact with each other. She works with adults, children and teenagers; When working with children, she includes creative art therapy and play therapy to explore the topics that concerns the families, and to help children to gain more self confidence and manage better in their home or school environment. Virginia obtained her Master of Social Work Degree from Fordham University, and has training in Trauma Informed art therapy, and Sand Play therapy, she has a degree in Social Education from Uruguay and more than 20 years of experience working with families
