“As a provider, I value collaboration and constant evaluation when treating individuals and families experiencing a wide range of challenges. I view myself and my clients as partners and equals. I recognize that you are the “expert” when it comes to your own life, feelings, motivations, and experiences. My goal is to bring my knowledge of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) methods; non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and healing-centered approaches; physical, mental, and emotional development across the lifespan; emotion regulation, grounding and de-escalating techniques; and an ever-growing trove of tools and approaches, to find the solutions that will suit your individual needs. The core values of social work as a profession involve treating the ‘person-in-environment’. For this reason, my goal is to look beyond the idea of an individual, their behaviors, and choices. I also explore the ways that my clients engage and interact with the environment, people, and systems that impact their lives. I use evidence-based tools and methods, with the goal of ensuring comfort and progress in the therapeutic work, and I allow your feedback to inform your care. Your life is precious, and healing is possible.”
