“We cannot change, we cannot move away from what we are, until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then change seems to come about almost unnoticed.” -Carl R. Rogers

As you begin your journey into creating a healthier and happier self, I will journey alongside you while creating a calm, compassionate, and trusting environment for you to feel safe and comfortable, as I do understand that beginning therapy may be a difficult process. We will work together to identify and build upon your strengths by improving your communication, learning new coping skills, and creating lasting change. I will conscientiously support you as you take steps toward reaching your goals, learning to navigate life’s stressors more effectively, and improving your overall sense of well-being. I have experience working in a variety of settings including outpatient and inpatient settings, residential facilities, schools, in the community, and

through virtual remote therapy sessions. I have gained experience in treating anxiety and depression, strengthening self-esteem, stress management, interpersonal relationships and conflicts, life transitions, and addictions. Therapy is a very personal endeavor. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I draw from a variety of methods to create an individualized approach that will meet your specific needs and goals by combining therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. In sitting with you, I am committed to engaging openly and honestly, as I invite you to do the same! Together, we can build on the strengths you have to provide relief, insight, stronger communication, and more meaningful relationships.
